Jeff Ohlemacher

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of EMC Precision, Jeff is responsible for guiding the long term strategic leadership of this fourth generation, family owned precision machining company. Upon receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University he joined the company as Plant Manager in 1981. Jeff is credited with bringing progressive management processes to EMC that significantly improved plant effectiveness and efficiency. In 1987, Jeff was named President & CEO.

Since 1981, Jeff has been involved in the Precision Machined Products Association (PMPA), the precision machining industry’s premier association, of which he is a Past President. He also served as Director, Lake Erie District Chair, and continues to serve on association committees.

Jeff is an active member and Past Cleveland Chapter Chair of the World Presidents Organization and is a past member of the Young Presidents Organization. In the local Lorain/Elyria community, Jeff has served many organizations, including the Arthritis Foundation, Elyria City Schools Board of Education, Elyria Civil Service Commission, and the Elyria Rotary Club. Jeff enjoys engaging with people, reading, jogging, gardening, cooking, and canning. He and his wife Denise reside in Elyria, Ohio and have a blended family of five young adults.

 

 

Bob Graney

Chief Operating Officer

As COO of EMC Precision, Bob is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational activities of our manufacturing facilities in Elyria, OH and Sheridan, IN. Upon receiving a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University, Bob worked for The American Tank & Fabricating Company in Cleveland, OH with progressive responsibilities within the accounting department for 7 years. Shortly after earning his Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance from Cleveland State University and his CPA License, Bob joined EMC Precision as the Corporate Controller in March 2000. In 2010, Bob was named Chief Operating Officer.

In the local community, Bob has served many organizations over the past 20+ years. Bob enjoys coaching various youth sports in his spare time. He and his wife Maureen reside in Avon Lake, Ohio with their 5 boys.

 

 

Larry Harrison

Vice President, Business Development

As VP, Business Development, Larry is responsible for helping current customer and potential customers understand our capabilities and how EMC can fit within their purchasing strategy. Involved in precision machining since 1977, he started his career as a machinist and enjoyed improving processes that soon led to an Engineering Trainee position. As a Manufacturing Engineer, he helped develop and install new technology and processes that continued to keep EMC in the forefront of technological advancement. A member of the strategic planning team, Larry is an active participate in planning the future of EMC.

Larry and his wife Beth, reside in Sheffield Lake, Ohio and have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys fishing, motorcycling, hunting and spending time with family.

 

 

Luke Wright

Vice President, Plant Manager

Luke has been with EMC Precision since 1996. After graduating in 1998 from the Lorain County JVS (Joint Vocational School), Luke went on to become a journeyman toolmaker through an apprenticeship with EMC Precision. For many years, Luke worked in the Model Shop making prototypes and fixtures. From there he worked in EMC Precision’s rapid response area where we did short run CNC work, eventually becoming Group Lead of the Mill Turn department for over 10 years. Luke has been the Plant Manager since 2022 after joining the Executive Team in 2021. Luke loves helping others solve problems and improving processes by building strong relationships with his peers and growing together as a team.

Outside of work, Luke loves spending time with his family and farming. He and his wife Megan live on a farm in wellington, OH and have 5 children. Luke is a member of the Lagrange Church of God and has been an active church member his whole life.
